Step 1: patch -p1 < eggdrop1.6.2-1.6.3.patch
          (this will patch eggdrop1.6.2 properly)

Step 2: mv eggdrop1.6.2 eggdrop1.6.3
          (this isn't really needed, but you are using 1.6.3 now)

Once you have done these steps, compile eggdrop1.6.3 like normal.
