Step 1: patch -p1 < eggdrop1.6.5-1.6.6.patch
          (this will patch eggdrop1.6.5 properly)

Step 2: mv eggdrop1.6.5 eggdrop1.6.6
          (this isn't really needed, but you are using 1.6.6 now)

Once you have done these steps, compile eggdrop1.6.6 like normal.
