autojump.tcl script (for eggdrop v1.0x and v1.1.x) description.

The most advanced eggdrop server management available. Features:

1. Automatically changes server at the random amount of time

2. Manages tandem bots on the channel to jump only if it is safe

3. Does not allow tandem bots to be on the same or almost the same server

4. Connects to a random <server:port> using the internal server list


Why should you install this script:

1. You don't want your bot to be killed/banned because:

- irc.umich.edu: "No Idle Clients"

- irc.magic.mb.ca: "No idling of clients."

- irc.mindspring.com: "No excessively idle clients."

- irc.prison.net: "NO detached or excessively idle clients"

- irc.psinet.com: "NO BOTS, ... EXCESSIVELY IDLE CLIENTS ... ALLOWED"

- irc.ced.chalmers.se: "What is not allowed? ...idling from outside .gu.se
or .chalmers.se (this includes even them who hides behind anti idle scripts.
Using anti idle scripts will be considered abusive use and will render a kill
or K line)"

- irc.df.lth.se: "Clients idle more than 12 hrs are killed when found."

- irc.stanford.edu: "Please do not idle on this server for more than 15 minutes."

(all examples are taken from the actual MOTDs of EFNET servers)

2. You want your bots in tandem to change a server only if others bots are
quarding the channel

3. You don't want your bots in tandem to be on the same server (this includes
server aliases).

4. Internal server list with random <server:port> makes the bot more
unpredictable in a good way. It may protect against some abusive programs
that need to know port to which your bot is connected to flood it off.
Selecting a random port (not 6667) would fasten up the connection.
